At the Resort

If you observe issues that indicate disrepair or are in need of attention, please send your photos to SunriseCoveOwners@gmail.com.

We would also ask that you notify resort staff of all items that are in need of repair and being documented here, as our goal is to see these issues addressed by resort management.

All photos should have a description of the location they were taken, and the month and year they were taken.

Considering our goal is to improve the condition of the resort, if you identify one of these items that has been corrected, please send us a photo so we can thank resort management for addressing the issue.

In August, 2025, a member reported the following railing repair and deck chair replacement. The railing repair is clearly temporary, and the deck chair replacements are very flimsy and unlikely to last a full season.

What is going on here? It really is hard to tell:

This notice was put on a member’s windshield to cover a FixSunriseCove.com sign in August 2025. It appears the resort owner is now selectively enforcing sections of the Association covenants, while completely avoiding enforcement of others. There were numerous other advertisements on vehicles in the parking lots on the same day with no “notices” on them.

Additionally, what does the cleaning have to do with anything? His inability to manage the cleaning properly was somehow due to actions of our group? If the costs increased by $250,000, why aren’t we as members seeing any better results?

The space between the swimming pool and arcade

Who makes the decision to continue to operate a golf game, which means players are holding a golf club that can easily damage the ceiling, in an indoor space with the lowest ceiling in the entire resort? Is this a decision of the resort owner, or the consultant that the Association pays over $150,000 per year?

The smoke alarm in the indoor miniature golf area

The resort owner continually reminds our members that nobody takes care of anything. Apparently that includes him, as this is is the condition of some of the games in the arcade.

This door was kept locked during August 2025. This is a marked emergency exit, and was unable to be opened from either side, presenting a significant risk in the event Emergency Personnel needed to enter the building, or in the event of an emergency exit.
